View Full Version : 406 turbo engine build/rebuild

Jim Loveland jr. is in the middle of rebuilding/building his 406 chevy engine. The block is fresh back from Lou`s Performance Machine (deck, new hone, line hone) and the bottom end was rebalanced as well. Hopefully I can post some assembly pictures for you all to view.

This engine had some issues last year so hopefully this year they are behind us and this truck can run closer to its potential.

New pictures.

By the end of next week it should be bolted into the truck and ready to go to the chassis man (Chris Klink at Ultra-tech Racecars) to get a 10 point cage and then once a break in the weather occurs its going to TI Dyno for a session.

What kind of pistons and rods you running.What cc are the pistons?Pump gas motor?

Eagle rods, JE 8.5:1 pistons, don't remembe the dish, yes, pump gas engine
