Eclipse Interior lights

Anyone have any info on what to do if the interior lights dont come on in my eclipse when the doors are opened? i heard this was a common problem. neither door triggers the lights or the "door ajar" light on the dash, but if i open the hatch it does. i checked the room lights fuse, it was fine. then i took that switch out of the rocker, jumped it and nothing happened. any thoughts?

im pretty sure its the little door triggers that get junky and dont come out..

i took the door switches out and jumped the terminals for the switch, didnt get a light on the tester or interior lights so i think im not getting power somewhere. but the fuse is ok. upon further inspection i found this:

anyone kno where thats supposed to go? steel? pelco?

i did just that, none to be found in the immediate area. even looked behind the fuse box and on the back of it.

my 1g's interior lights never come on either. my sebring's interior is the same as a 2g dsm and sometimes I have wiggle the wire on my mirror to get the lights to come on (I have a sunroof and the domelight's on the mirror). I have that same fuse box in the sebring but I don't see that clip anywhere

i did the wiggle test to every wire having to deal with interior lights. i really think its a power source problem, cuz i dont even get the "door ajar" light in the dash or the beeper when i leave the keys in the ignition.
