I've been doing my research on these and they have good performance and power, does anyone have any experience with the turbo model ? I am getting ready to buy another car and doing my research on something different.

Aftermarket parts aren't very easy to come by. There are no longer hard pipes available through any companies, so Brian and I were looking into fabbing a kit for them. I mean the upgrades are there if you are willing to do the hard work, but most people just opt to swap the motor. If you're looking for something you can do quickly, unless you find one that is already running, don't waist your time or money. But if you are willing to completely tare it down and rebuild it then I'm sure you'll be happy in the end.

Heavy, weighs more than a 3000gt with not much more power than an eclipse although you have the advantage of it being a 6 cyl

Some cars its all about the hunt for the parts, I enjoy the hunt cause the finished product is something no one else has.

No offense buddy, but the hunt for the parts is what's had 6 projects passed on to someone else. You need to get something you can easily modify, and maybe even drive WHILE you are working on it.

I haven't talked to him in a while, he's in the air force right? I dunno I think it would take a lot of money and a lot of work with little reward in the end unless you do something serious with it like a 2jz swap...still a supra though which is cool

I dont care about if its the fastest car, cause when you put the foot down everything goes 120 just how quick it gets there. I just want something different and I aint buyin a honda lol and 240s are coming out of the woodwork.

Spence you need to save your money and just buy something newer and reliable....and learn how to drive stick.
